THE KANELAND FOUNDATION AND KANELAND ARTS INITIATIVE (KAI) PARTNER TO PRESENT QUALITY ARTISTIC MEDIA. FUNDS ARE USED TO EXPOSE STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO A VARIETY OF ARTISTS THAT LIVE AND WORK IN THE AREA.
FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR KANELAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROGRAM FOR KANELAND HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO ARE CONTINUING THEIR EDUCATION AFTER GRADUATION. STUDENTS MUST APPLY FOR AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS MAINTAINED BY THE FOUNDATION. ONE AWARDED, THE SCHOLARSHIP CHECKS ARE ISSUED TO THE STUDENT AND THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION THEY WILL BE ATTENDING. THERE WERE TWO (2) ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED THIS YEAR.
THE FOX VALLEY CAREER CENTER NEEDED TO DEPOSIT THE MONEY TO OUR 501(C)(3) THEN WE WILL CUT A CHECK WHEN NEEDED.
