OUR JOB TRAINING PROGRAM EQUIPS YOUNG MOMS WITH JOB TRAINING SKILLS NEEDED TO OBTAIN QUALITY, PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT. OUR PROGRAM COMBINES CLASSROOM TRAINING WITH PAID, HANDS-ON WORK EXPERIENCE, MANUFACTURING CANDLES AT OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE, BRIGHT ENDEAVORS. OUR ACADEMIC COACHING PROGRAM ASSISTS YOUNG MOTHERS IN PURSUING POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION THROUGH MONTHLY STIPENDS AND INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COACHING, AS THEY WORK TOWARD DEGREES TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE ECONOMIC MOBILITY.
OUR FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM PROVIDES EDUCATION, COACHING, AND SUPPORT TO HELP MOTHERS LEARN TO BE THEIR CHILDREN'S FIRST, BEST TEACHER. COMMUNITY-BASED DOULAS AND HOME VISITORS WORK WITH YOUNG MOTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY DURING PREGNANCY AND THE EARLY YEARS OF A CHILD'S LIFE. FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED IN BOTH CHICAGO AND NEAR WESTERN SUBURBS.
OUR HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AND INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT SERVICES FOR FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS AT LOCATIONS IN CHICAGO AND OAK PARK.
