PROGRAM 60 - RESIDENTIAL: THIS PROGRAM SUPPORTS COMMUNITY INTEGRATED IN-HOME LIVING ARRANGEMENTS PROVIDING TWENTY-FOUR HOUR SUPPORT FOR 16 CLIENTS DESIGNED TO INCREASE INDEPENDENT LIVING, SOCIAL INTERACTION, AND UTILIZATION OF THE COMMUNITY.
PROGRAM 31 - DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINING: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES TRAINING AND HABILITATION TO DEVELOP PRE-VOCATIONAL AND INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS. THE PROGRAM ALSO PLACES EMPHASIS ON TRAINING IN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, LEISURE AND SOCIAL SKILLS, AS WELL AS GENERAL SKILLS FOR INVOLVEMENT IN THE COMMUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH MODERATE TO SEVERE DISABILITIES. PROGRAM SERVED 65 CLIENTS.
PREVENTATIVE INITIATIVE: A CHILD-PARENT PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN BIRTH-TO-THREE YEARS OF AGE DESIGNED TO HELP CHILDREN TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS THEY ENTER SCHOOL AND HELP PARENTS INCREASE THEIR PARENTING KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS. PROGRAM SERVED 26 CLIENTS.
OTHER PROGRAMS PROVIDE A VARIETY OF CLIENT SERVICES TO HELP THE ORGANIZATION ACHIEVE ITS MISSION. THESE INCLUDE PROGRAMS WHICH EMPHASIZE EARLY DETECTION OF DELAYED DEVELOPMENT OF INFANTS AND ATTEMPTS TO PREVENT IDENTIFIABLE DISABILITIES. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUP SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES, JOB TRAINING, REHABILITATION, RESPITE SERVICES, AND TRANSPORTATION. ALSO, THE ENTITY TRIES TO ADVANCE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH RECREATION AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES.
