CONVENTION - EDUCATION WORKSHOPS HELP MEMBERS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND ALTRUSA AND PROMOTE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. RECOGNITION AWARDS ARE GIVEN TO MEMBERS THROUGHOUT THE CONVENTION. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 289 PAID ATTENDEES AT THE JULY 2021 CONVENTION. THE NEXT BIENNIAL CONVENTION WILL BE JULY 2023. DURING THE CONVENTION THERE IS A FORUM FOR ELECTING AND INSTALLING OFFICERS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. VOTING IS DONE ON THE BUDGET AND BYLAWS.
