MICHIANA BENEVOLENT SOCIETY, INC., A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3)OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE WAS FORMED AND BEGAN OPERATIONS IN 1959 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING AND OPERATING A RESIDENCE AND HEALTH CARE FACILITY FOR THE AGED. IN 1963, THE CORPORATION CONSTRUCTED FACILITIES IN BREMEN, INDIANA KNOW AS "THE WHITLOCK". THE WHITLOCK FACILITIES CONSIST OF A ONE-STORY STRUCTURE CONTAINING NINE STUDIO APARTMENTS,EIGHTEEN ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENTS, AND TWO-TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH CENTRAL KITCHEN, DINING, LAUNDRY AND ESSENTIAL SERVICES AND RELATED FACILITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 49 INDIVIDUALS.
