THE CORPORATION AIMS TO ENHANCE AND EXPAND THE COOPERATIVE EFFORTS OF THE SPONSORING COUNTRIES BY ESTABLISHING A CENTRAL POINT FOR MENTAL HEALTH & DISABILITY LEADERS IN NETWORKING, EDUCATING MENTAL HEALTH LEADERS, ACTING AS A RESOURCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH & DISABILITY LEADERS IN SPONSORING AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, AND IDENTIFYING BEST PRACTICES WITH REGARD TO MENTAL HEALTH & DISABILITY SERVICES MANAGEMENT AND OPERAATIONAL POLICIES.

TO FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS; ORGANIZING LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE, PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONS, PUBLISH NEWSLETTER AND REPORTS TO HIGHLIGHT INNOVATIONS, DEVELOPING A COMPUTERIZED DATABASE OF INTERNATIONAL LEADERS AND PROMOTING SHARING INFORMATION AMONG THE AGENCIES BY BUILDING COLLABORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS.
SPONSORING COUNTRY LEADERSHIP GROUP WHICH IS AIMED AT ENCOURAGING THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY'S INVOLVEMENT IN COLLABORATIVE WORK IN MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY FIELDS. THIS GROUP IS AIMED AT GAINING PARTICIPATION AND FUNDING FROM THE COUNTRY'S PRINCIPAL AGENCY WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY IS TO ASSIST PERSONS WITH MATTERS RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH & DISABILITY.
