HOPE CRISIS RESPONSE NETWORK PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY DISASTER. WE PROVIDE IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE WHEN A WILDFIRE STRIKES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. OUR STAFF TRAINS AND MENTORS LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN ESTABLISHING A LONG TERM RECOVERY GROUP. HCRN REBUILDS HOMES FOR VULNERABLE FAMILIES IN THE RECOVERY PHASE BY COORDINATING VOLUNTEER TEAMS FOR THE LABOR. SINCE 2015, WE HAVE RESPONDED TO 56 FIRES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. HCRN PROVIDES IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING DISASTERS IN THE FORM OF SUPPLIES AND AID.

DISASTER RESPONSE AND RECOVERY. HCRN PROVIDES IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE, COMMUNITY MENTORING AND LONG TERM RECOVERY REBUILDING HELP FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COMMUNITIES DEVASTATED BY DISASTER. HCRN BECAME A LICENSED GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN CALIFORNIA THIS YEAR. HCRN COORDINATES VOLUNTEERS WHO REBUILD HOMES FOR VULNERABLE FAMILIES. HCRN CURRENTLY HAS TWO REBUILDING PROJECTS: PARADISE, CA AND HAPPY CAMP, CA. IN 2021, WE COMPLETED SIX YEARS OF RECOVERY WORK IN LAKE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA AND WRAPPED UP OUR PROJECT THERE. HCRN TRANFERRED OUR VOLUNTEER HOUSING BUILDING TO MIDDLETOWN PARK ASSOCIATION AS PART OF OUR AGREEMENT WITH THEM. HCRN REBUILDS FOR HOUSEHOLDS WHO WERE UNDERINSURED OR UNINSURED AT THE TIME OF THE FIRE WITHOUT CHARGING FOR OUR SERVICES. OUR DONORS, PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE: HCRN PROVIDED SUPPLIES AND GIFT CARDS TO WILDFIRE EVACUEES, IN PARTICULAR IN RESPONSE TO THE DIXIE FIRE AND THE CALDOR FIRE. LONG TERM RECOVERY TRAINING:STAFF ALSO IMPLEMENTED TRAINING AND ONGOING SUPPORT FOR EIGHT LONG TERM RECOVERY PROJECTS ACROSS THE STATE.
