GRANTS TO 35 ORGANIZATIONS IN 23 STATES FIGHTING THE CRITICAL ISSUE OF HUNGER ON THE MOST LOCAL COMMUNITY LEVEL. GRANT SUPPORTED PROGRAMS RANGED FROM A FARM TO SCHOOL PANTRY PROGRAM, TO FOOD DESERT RELIEF, TO SUPPORTING OUR VULNERABLE SENIOR POPULATION THROUGH MEALS ON WHEELS FOOD DELIVERY.
155 UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS TO MEMBERS OF ALPHA GAMMA DELTA ADVANCING AND COMPLETING THEIR EDUCATION AT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION. ALL DURING A TIME OF STRESS WHEN STUDENTS WERE READJUSTING TO RETURNING TO CAMPUS POST COVID-19.
ONE-YEAR PROGRAM GRANTS TO ALPHA GAMMA DELTA FRATERNITY FOR EDUCATIONAL, LEADERSHIP AND PHILANTHROPIC INITIATIVES. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED FUNDING FOR:ACADEMY FOR COLLEGIATE OFFICERS - TAKING COLLEGIATE LEADERS ON A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY FOCUSED ON THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. CONTENT FOCUSED ON THE SKILLS NEEDED TO MULTIPLY THE TALENT OF LEADERSHIP IN OTHERS, OVERCOMING THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME AND DOUBT, THE ART OF GATHERING AND BUILDING COMMUNITY/TEAMS, AND RESILIENCE. ACORN - A LEARNING MANAGEMENT PLATFORM ACCESSIBLE TO ALL 145,000 LIVING MEMBERS OF THE FRATERNITY. THE CATALOGUE OF COURSES INCLUDES HOW TO COMMAND A ROOM, MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, THRIVING IN A REMOTE WORLD; DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING; HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, SUPPORTING SEXUAL ASSAULT SURVIVORS AND MUCH MORE.EMPOWER - DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW, OPTIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR THE HIGHEST MOTIVATED LEVEL OF LEADERS IN OUR 118 COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA. TO BE LED BY ESTABLISHED ALUMNAE PROFESSIONALS, COLLEGIATE PARTICIPANTS IN THIS COHORT MODEL WILL DEFINE THEIR PERSONAL VISION AND LEADERSHIP STYLE AND CREATE STRATEGIES TO SET GOALS AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM CONCLUDES WITH AN IN-PERSON, WEEKEND CAPSTONE EXPERIENCE.LEADERSHIP CONSULTANT PROGRAM - 152 HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AND COACHING VISITS DELIVERED TO 18-22 YEAR-OLD COLLEGIATE WOMEN AT 90 ALPHA GAMMA DELTA CHAPTERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA, IMPACTING THE MAJORITY OF OUR 11,000 COLLEGIATE WOMEN. MENTAL HEALTH - THE CALL TO CONTINUE SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVES REMAINS LOUD AND CLEAR AS OUR 18-22 YEAR-OLD MEMBERS READAPT TO IN-PERSON RELATIONSHIPS. GRANT FUNDS UNDERWROTE SELF-CARE INVENTORIES, GROUP CONSULTATIONS AND VIRTUAL IMPACT TALKS FOCUSING ON TOPICS INCLUDING GROUP THINK, HOLISTIC WELLNESS, TOXIC POSITIVITY AND MANAGING UNCERTAINTY. WHILE FOCUSED ON OUR YOUNGEST MEMBERS, THESE RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE TO OUR FULL MEMBERSHIP OF OVER 145,000 WOMEN.EQUITY EDUCATION - THIS MULTI-FACETED PROGRAM TACKLES THE COMPLEX ISSUES OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING WITH COLLEGIATE MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND ADVISORS, ALUMNAE VOLUNTEERS AND THE GENERAL LEADERSHIP OF THE ORGANIZATION.
