THE WONDERLAB MUSEUM OF SCIENCE, HEALTH AND TECHNOLOGY IS A PREMIER CENTER FOR INFORMAL SCIENCE EDUCATION AND DISCOVERY. WONDERLAB PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, TO EXPERIENCE THE WONDER AND EXCITEMENT OF SCIENCE THROUGH HANDS-ON EXHIBITS AND PROGRAMS THAT STIMULATE CURIOSITY, ENCOURAGE EXPLORATION, FOSTER LIFELONG LEARNING AND EXPLORE CONNECTIONS TO THE ARTS AND EVERYDAY LIFE.

THE WONDERLAB MUSEUM PROVIDES INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS, ACTIVITIES AND SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH. PRIOR TO MARCH 2020, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED OVER 85,000 VISITORS AT ITS MUSEUM IN DOWNTOWN BLOOMINGTON AND AT OFF-SITE EXPERIENCES. AFTER A STEEP DECLINE IN ATTENDANCE DURING THE YEARS OF THE PANDEMIC, ATTENDANCE IS MOVING STRONGLY TOWARD PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS. DURING THE YEAR ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2023, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED 67,636 VISITORS (CHILDREN, ADULTS, INFANTS) AT THE MUSEUM, WHICH WAS 28,645 MORE VISITORS THAT IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR, AND 80% OF THE MUSEUM ATTENDANCE DURING THE YEAR ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2019. IN-PERSON OUTREACH PROGRAMS DURING THE YEAR ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2023 REACHED AN ADDITIONAL 6,097 CHILDREN AND ADULTS. VIRTUAL PROGRAMS REACHED AN ADDITIONAL 1,084 FAMILIES. DURING SUMMER 2023, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED WEEK-LONG SESSIONS OF WONDERCAMP (A HANDS-ON, IN-PERSON SUMMER SCIENCE ENRICHMENT EXPERIENCE) FOR 280 INDIVIDUAL FAMILIES AND 355 INDIVIDUAL CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION'S VISITORS ARE PRIMARILY FROM SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA.
