ON MARCH 1, 2016, IUHLP SOLD IU HEALTH LA PORTE HOSPITAL AND IU HEALTH STARKE HOSPITAL TO LA PORTE HEALTH SYSTEM, LLC, A JOINT VENTURE BETWEEN INDIANA UNIVERSITY HEALTH, INC. AND A SUBSIDIARY OF COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS, INC. BEGINNING ON MARCH 1, 2016, IUHLP BEGAN THE PROCESS OF CLOSING ITS BUSINESS WHICH CONTINUED DURING 2020 AND WAS COMPLETED IN 2021.
