IN 2021 PANGEA GIVING MADE 14 GRANTS TO NONPROFITS ORGANIZATIONS IN EAST AFRICA, LATIN-AMERICAN, AND SOUTHEAST ASIA. IN ADDITION, PANGEA HOSTED ONLINE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS FOR MEMBERS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY. THESE FREE EVENTS INCLUDED SEVERAL CONVERSATIONS WITH EXPERTS ON THE SOCIO-POLITICAL CRISIS IN MYANMAR AND ITS IMPACT ON OUR PARTNERS WORK IN COUNTRY; DISCUSSIONS WITH OUR EAST AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA POD ADVISORS; AND A PRESENTATION ON "NEW MASCULINITIES IN LATIN AMERICA." BECAUSE OF COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS, PANGEA GIVING MEMBERS WERE NOT ABLE TO CONDUCT IN-PERSON SITE VISITS IN 2021. HOWEVER, ONLINE SITE VISITS WERE CONDUCTED WITH OUR TWO GRANT PARTNERS IN GUATEMALA. IN ADDITION, FREQUENT CONTACT WITH GRANT PARTNERS WAS MAINTAINED THROUGH PHONE CALLS AND ONLINE COMMUNICATION.
