FROM MARCH 2020-PRESENT, CONXUSNEO LAUNCHED RAISE: GOOD JOBS FOR GREATER AKRON AS A PILOT PROJECT. RAISE IS A COMMUNITY INITIATIVE TO HELP EMPLOYERS, EDUCATION/TRAINING ORGANIZATIONS, WORKFORCE PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS GIVE RESIDENTS GREATER ACCESS TO GOOD JOBS, UPSKILLING OPPORTUNITIES AND WRAP AROUND SUPPORT. THE GOAL IS TO MOBILIZE UN/UNDEREMPLOYED RESIDENTS TO CONNECT WITH EMPLOYERS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS TO EXPEDITE THE UPSKILLING AND HIRING NECESSARY TO FILL OPEN, IN-DEMAND JOBS, MEETING THE EMPLOYERS SKILLED WORKFORCE NEEDS AND PROVIDING RESIDENTS WITH BETTER CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE.
