FRIENDS OF BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF TOLEDO IS ORGANIZED FOR FUNDRAISING. PROCEEDS FROM FUNDRAISERS GO TO BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF TOLEDO, AND THE TOLEDO NEWSBOYS' ASSOCIATION. THESE ENTITIES ARE NOT-FOR-PROFIT AGENCIES COMMITTED TO ENABLING ALL YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO NEED US MOST, TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AS PRODUCTIVE, CARING, AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS.

THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF TOLEDO CHRISTMAS PARTY BEGAN IN 1892 WHEN LOCAL BUSINESSMAN, JOHN GUNCKEL, HANDED OUT GOODIES AND TREATS TO THE LOCAL NEWSBOYS. SINCE THEN, THIS ANNUAL EVENT HAS BROUGHT TOGETHER COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS AND YOUTH FROM OUR FOUR CLUBS FOR AN EVENING OF HOLIDAY FUN. NEARLY 730 YOUTH ATTENDED THIS EVENT IN 2022. THE CHRISTMAS PARTY IS THE CULMINATION OF OUR YEAR AND SETS THE TONE FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON.
