NETWORK CONVENINGS: THE FOUNDATION FOSTERS A GROWING NETWORK OF ALUMNI, ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTITIONERS, AND ORGANIZATIONS BY SUPPORTING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AND FACILITATING COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION-SHARING AMONG FELLOWS. ACTIVITIES IN 2021 INCLUDED 11 VIRTUAL EVENTS, THREE TRAININGS, AND FOUR CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIPS.
SPRING FELLOWS RETREAT: SWITZER FELLOWS PARTICIPATE IN TWO MULTI-DAY RETREATS WHICH FOCUS ON BUILDING CONNECTIONS AMONG FELLOWS AND DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE SPRING RETREAT FOCUSED ON POLICY ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS TRAINING FOR 20 CURRENT FELLOWS; IN 2021, IT INCLUDED AN OPTIONAL IN-PERSON GATHERING FOR 19 CURRENT AND RECENT FELLOWS IN WASHINGTON, DC.
