MASONIC PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES FOR 161 MEMBERS, PLUS VISITING MASONS AND GUESTS MAINLY FROM THE NORTHEAST OHIO AREA. MAIN ACTIVITIES: PRESENTING MASONIC DEGREES TO INCOMING MEMBERS, MASONIC FUNERAL SERVICES, CHARITY, QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, SOCIAL EVENTS, AND MASONIC EDUCATION.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THE FIRST AND THIRD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH, EXCEPT DURING JULY AND AUGUST, AT THE LYNDHURST MASONIC CENTER. LIGHT REFRESHMENTS ARE PROVIDED AFTER EACH MEETING TO MEMBERS AND GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE. A LIGHT DINNER PRECEDING THE MEETING IS PROVIDED ON SELECTED DATES. MASONIC APRONS, BOOKS, TOKEN SYMBOLS, AND OTHER MASONIC SUPPLIES ARE USED IN THE INTITIATION OF NEW MEMBERS AND IN THE CONDUCT OF MEETINGS. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, SOME MEETINGS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY.


NORMALLY, SOCIAL EVENTS, BOTH MEMBERS-ONLY AND THOSE OPEN TO SPOUSES, FAMILY, AND GUESTS, ARE HELD AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING THE YEAR AT LOCAL AREA CATERING PLACES. THE ANNUAL MASTER & WARDENS DINNER DANCE IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT AND MOST EXPENSIVE. MASONIC PROGRAM EVENTS ARE HELD IN THE LODGE BUILDING WITH REFERSHMENTS FOLLOWING. DINNER PRECEDES SELECTED PROGRAM MEETINGS. MEMBERS PURCHASE TICKETS FOR SELECTED DINNER EVENTS AND OTHER EVENTS OF SIGNIFICANT EXPENSE. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, ONLY A MEMORIAL DAY OUTDOOR PICNIC WAS HELD.


UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS LODGE CONTRIBUTES TIME AND MONEY TO VARIOUS MASONIC ORGANIZATIONS AND VARIOUS NON-MASONIC IRC SECTION 501(C)3 CHARITIES IN THE GREATER CLEVELAND AREA. 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS ARE SELECTED BY A COMMITTEE PER ITS RESEARCH AND INVESTIGATION.
