MRC CINCINNATI IS A MULTI-FACETED TEEN CENTER THAT USES RECORDING AND PERFORMING ARTS, AS WELL AS LIFE SKILLS, TO CREATE A SENSE OF EMPOWERMENT AND ACCOMPLISHMENT IN THE URBAN COMMUNITY. OUR MISSION IS TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH MUSIC AND EQUIP THEM WITH LIFE SKILLS FOR THE FUTURE.

OPERATE AN AFTER SCHOOL TEEN CENTER AND MUSIC RECORDING STUDIO FOR TEENS IN GRADES 7 THROUGH 12 TO LEARN COMPUTER MUSIC PRODUCTION, RECORDING AND TAKE MUSIC LESSONS. MRC OPERATES A 7,900 SQ. FT. FACILITY AND OFFERS MEMBERS ACCESS TO MULTI-TRACK RECORDING STUDIOS, PROJECT STUDIOS, REHEARSAL SPACES, PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES, AND MENTORING. THE MRC STUDIO IS OPEN MONDAY - THURSDAY FROM 2PM TO 7PM AND INCLUDES SUMMER HOURS.
MRC PARTNERS WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE DIGITAL RECORDING INSTRUCTION. TEENS WORK COLLABORATIVELY IN GROUPS AND LEARN TO MAKE A BEAT, WRITE A SONG AND RECORD ORIGINAL MUSIC.
