ATHLETIC AND ENRICHMENT CLUBS: THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS A VARIETY OF SPORTS, ARTS, CRAFTS, AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES FOR THE STUDENTS TO IMPROVE THEIR ATHLETIC ABILITIES, PHYSICAL CONDITIONING, AND BROADEN THEIR AREAS OF INTEREST.
STUDENT WELFARE AND SUPPORT: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR TO ENRICH THE STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TUTORING, TEACHER-SUPERVISED CRAFTS, AND INTERMURAL SPORTS ACTIVITIES DURING LUNCHTIME. TEACHER-SUPERVISED STUDY HALL AND HOMEWORK HELP IS AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS TWICE A WEEK AFTER SCHOOL. A SWIM PARTY AND ORIENTATION SESSION WITH LUNCH IS HELD FOR INCOMING 6TH GRADE STUDENTS TO INTRODUCE THEM TO THE SCHOOL AND STAFF AND A PARENT/TEACHER SOCIAL EVENT IS HELD ANNUALLY.
COTILLION: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR DANCE INSTRUCTORS AND OTHER EXPENSES TO TEACH THE STUDENTS SOCIAL ETIQUETTE, SOCIAL SKILLS AND BALLROOM DANCES. STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER AND ADULTS IN A SOCIAL SETTING AND PARTICIPATE IN SOCIAL DANCES THROUGHOUT THE SEASON. THIS PROGRAM HELPS BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE IN THE STUDENTS AND PROVIDES THEM WITH SKILLS TO CARRY WITH THEM THROUGH ADULTHOOD.
