CLASSROOM AND HEALTH SUPPORT FOR THE IRVINE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (IUSD). FUNDS WERE GRANTED TO IUSD TO PROVIDE EXTRA TEACHERS AND INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANTS TO MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF LARGER CLASS SIZES, TO PROVIDE AND SUPPORT MUSIC AND SCIENCE INSTRUCTION, TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, AND TO PROVIDE ATHLETIC TRAINERS AND NURSES, AFFECTING ALL 36,000 STUDENTS IN THE DISTRICT.
SUMMER ENRICHMENT ACADEMY (SEA)ENRICHMENT AND ACADEMIC CLASSES OFFERED TO K-12 STUDENTS DURING THE SUMMER, SERVING OVER 2,700 STUDENTS.
