THE SAN DIEGO ENDOCRINE METABOLISM SOCIETY IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF PHYSICIANS AND OTHER HEALTH-CARE PROFESSIONALS FROM THE SAN DIEGO COMMUNITY WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ALL ASPECTS OF ENDOCRINOLOGY, DIABETES AND METABOLISM DISEASE. THEY HOLD WEEKLY SEMINARS WITH GUEST SPEAKERS WHICH ARE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD. THEY ALSO PROVIDE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION TO GUESTS THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN DIEGO. ALL MONIES COLLECTED ARE USED FOR THE VARIOUS CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
