PROVIDED OR SUPPORTED SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 300 STUDENTS AT THE RHOADES SCHOOL IN ENCINITAS, CA. ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN ACADEMICS, THE ARTS, AND FITNESS WERE SUPPORTED IN ORDER TO FULFILL THE ORGANIZATION'S COMMITMENT TO ENHANCEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN WITH THE CAPACITY FOR HIGH-LEVEL INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT.DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, WE FUNDED THE PURCHASE TEACHER WISH LIST ITEMS, PROVIDED CLASSROOM FUNDS, INSTALLED LOWER SCHOOL MISTERS AND ZEN GARDEN BENCHES, ALONG WITH COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES AND APPLE TV. COMING BACK FROM COVID DIFFICULTIES IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, THE FOUNDATION SPENT APPROXIMATELY $281 PER CHILD OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR.ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND INVOLVEMENT IS AT THE HEART OF THE RHOADESSCHOOL FOUNDATION. THROUGHOUT THE LAST YEAR WE WERE STILL ABLE TO CELEBRATE OUR STUDENTS, TEACHERS, STAFF, AND PARENTS. SOME OF OUR EVENTS INCLUDED: JOG-A-THON: FALL AND SPRING BOOK FAIRS PIZZA FRIDAYS SPRING ICE CREAM SOCIAL HELD ON BOTH CAMPUSES AT THE RHOADES SCHOOL. TEACHER APPRECIATION TREATS WERE GIVEN EVERY MONTH AND FACULTY RECEIVED CATERED LUNCH AND A RELAXATION CLASS IN SPRING. CLASSROOM FUNDS: THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A GENEROUS DONATION TO EACH CLASS IN GRADES K-5 AS WELL AS TO EACH MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUB TO BE USED AS EACH TEACHER DEEMS NECESSARY.
