TO MEET THE NEEDS OF SENIOR CITIZENS AND THE HANDICAPPED OF OUR AREA WITH MEALS-ON-WHEELS, DAILY MEALS AT THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER, THRIFT STORE, TRANSPORTATION AND ACTIVITIES.

PREPARED 17,473 MEALS (10,861 DELIVERED ON MEALS-ON-WHEELS, 1,773 MEALS AT THE CENTER, 4,371 TAKE OUT MEALS) ATTENDANCE 5,817 AT THE CENTER. WORKERS (MOSTLY SENIOR CITIZENS) WORKED IN KITCHEN 1,833 TIMES. TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED 594 TIMES FOR SENIORS. PROVIDED ACTIVITIES AT THE CENTER FOR THE SENIORS DAILY.
THE COUNTRY STORE (THRIFT STORE): ALL ITEMS ARE DONATED AND SOLD TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER. THE COUNTRY STORE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FROM 1:00PM TO 5:00PM EXCEPT HOLIDAYS. THE COUNTRY STORE PROVIDES A PLACE WHERE LOW, LIMITED AND/OR FIXED INCOME INDIVIDUALS (MAY SENIOR CITIZENS) MAY PURCHASE USABLE GOODS AT VERY LOW PRICES. TOTALLY A WIN- WIN FOR EVERYONE. MANY VOLUNTEERS (MOSTLY SENIORS) VOLUNTEER TO WORK HERE WEEKLY. THE COUNTRY STORE IS A CLOTHES PANTRY FOR LOCAL CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS.
