THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO OPERATE A PRIVATE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AGES FIVE YEARS TO EIGHTEEN YEARS WITH MODERATE TO SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES INCLUDING MENTAL RETARDATION, PDD/AUTISM, TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES AND NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS. THE CURRICULUM INCLUDES DAILY LIVING SKILLS, COMMUNITY TRAINING, SPEECH, OCCUPATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL THERAPY, AS WELL AS TRADITIONAL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS LIKE READING AND MATH. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES A 1:2 STAFF/STUDENT RATIO GIVING EACH STUDENT AN OPTIMAL AMOUNT OF INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION.
