SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS:JACK'S PLACE HAS CREATED "JACK'S DOLLARS", A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO HELP FAMILIES AFFORD THE SUPPORT THEY NEED FOR A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS. "JACK'S DOLLARS" ARE AVAILABLE FOR RECREATION, SPORTS, HOBBIES, CRAFTS, MUSIC, ART AND DANCE. AN APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM START DATE. APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE JACK'S PLACE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION VERIFICATION OF DIAGNOSIS FROM TREATING PHYSICIAN/OR CURRENT INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PLAN (IEP). JACK'S PLACE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION WILL PROVIDE 80% OF THE COST OF THE PROGRAM(S) UP TO A MAXIMUM OF $250 PER CALENDAR YEAR PER INDIVIDUAL. FOR 2017 SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALED $3,215. JACK'S PLACE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANTS TO QUALIFIED ORGANIZATIONS WITH TRAINED STAFF AND FACILITIES TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS.
