OUR MISSION IS TO BE THE VOICE FOR RESIDENTIAL AND SENIOR CARE LIVING PROVIDERS IN OHIO.

THE OHIO HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION (OHCA) IS AN INFORMATION AND EDUCATION RESOURCE TO OHIO'S LONG-TERM CARE PROVIDERS, THEIR SUPPLIERS, CONSULTANTS AND TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE. AT THE END OF 2023, OHCA HAD 1,228 MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS WITH 76,510 BEDS, ALONG WITH 300 INDUSTRY PARTNER MEMBERS. THE MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED 160 ID/DD FACILITIES, 30 ID/DD WAIVER PROVIDERS, 312 ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITIES, 51 HOME CARE PROVIDERS, AND 29 HOSPICE PROVIDERS. OHCA ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS WITH THE LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT ABOUT ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THE LONG-TERM CARE PROFESSION. OHCA ALSO PROVIDES PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAMMING TO PROMOTE THE LONG-TERM CARE PROFESSIONAL.
OHCA PROVIDED NUMEROUS INFORMATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS TO MEMBERS, INCLUDING A WEEKLY ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS FOR SKILLED NURSING, ID/DD, HOME CARE, HOSPICE & ASSISTED LIVING AND VARIOUS MEMBER BULLETINS. IN 2023, OHCA ALSO OFFERED PROGRAMS UNDER WHICH MEMBERS RECEIVE DISCOUNTS ON GOODS AND SERVICES FROM VENDORS, PLUS SOLD LONG-TERM CARE RESOURCE MATERIALS TO MEMBERS AND OTHERS.
