KANSAS CITY REGIONAL TRANSIT ALLIANCE (KCTRA) PROVIDED ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, PROMOTING ALL MODES OF TRANSIT. DURING 2019, KCRTA PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN FOR EXTENSION OF THE STREETCAR TDD SOUTH TO UMKC. OTHER INITIATIVES FOR 2019 INCLUDED CREATING A PRELIMINARY FRAMEWORK FOR VISION ZERO IN THE KANSAS CITY REGION. KCRTA SPONSORED A CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE FORUM ON MAY 20, 2019 AT THE PLAZA LIBRARY. KCRTA ALSO COORDINATED AND PARTICIPATED WITH REGIONAL TRANSIT PARTNERS, INCLUDING RIDEKC, AND SPONSORED VARIOUS TRANSIT ORIENTED GATHERINGS FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MEMBERS AND ADVOCATES TO CONNECT. ADDITIONALLY, KCRTA HELD ITS ANNUAL MEETING IN NOVEMBER WHERE APPROXIMATELY 20 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
