TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF SMYTH COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION BY IDENTIFYING AND SUPPORTING QUALIFIED PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE IMPROVED PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH STATUS OF THE CITIZENS OF SMYTH COUNTY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

SMYTH COUNTY CHARITABLE FUND (THE "FUND") CONTINUES TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE LIFETIME WELLNESS CENTER LOCATIONS ACROSS SMYTH COUNTY. THESE SERVE AS A HUB FOR PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLNESS FOR OUR CITIZENS. THE FUND HAS ALSO PARTNERED WITH PROMINENT HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS SERVING A POPULATION WITH NO INSURANCE TO HELP MAINTAIN THEIR HEALTH BY ACQUIRING THE APPROPRIATE HEALTHCARE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES THEY NEED. THE FUND CONTINUES TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVES TO HELP MAKE HIGHER EDUCATION AN OPTION FOR STUDENTS WHO MAY NOT HAVE OTHERWISE ATTENDED COLLEGE AND SUPPORTING THOSE GOING INTO ALLIED HEALTH POSITIONS.
