HEALTH PARTNERS FREE CLINIC OPERATES A HEALTH CLINIC FOR THE UNINSURED AND UNDER-SERVED FAMILIES OF MIAMI COUNTY UTILIZING VOLUNTEER DOCTORS, NURSES, AND LAY PEOPLE. LAB TESTS AND PRESCRIPTIONS ARE PAID FOR AS APPROPRIATE. HEALTH PARTNERS FREE CLINIC INCORPORATED IN 1998 AND IS NOW PROVIDING ITS 20TH FULL YEAR OF MEDICAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY. MORE THAN 14,300 INDIVIDUALS HAVE RECEIVED TREATMENT THROUGH THE WEEKLY CLINICS. DURING 2020, MORE THAN $2.3 MILLION WORTH OF HEALTH CARE WAS GIVEN AT NO EXPENSE TO THE PATIENT. VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS OF NEARLY 1,768 HOURS OF THEIR TIME. THE DOLLAR VALUE OF THE PROFESSIONAL STAFF (DOCTORS AND NURSES) WAS $80,413 FOR THIS YEAR.
