TO MEET THE NEEDS OF HOMELESS VETERANS SUFFERING FROM ADDICTION WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY AND PROVIDE THEM THE SUPPORT THEY NEED TO MAINTAIN A LIFE LONG COMMITMENT TO RECOVERY AND TO THRIVE IN THE COMMUNITY.

INPATIENT, OUTPATIENT AND REINTEGRATION PROGRAM - JOSEPH HOUSE PROVIDES THE ONLY COMPREHENSIVE 12-MONTH TREATMENT PROGRAM IN THE UNITED STATES DEVOTED TO VETERANS. OUR PROGRAM FOCUSED ON RECIDIVISM IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. WE HAD A LESS THAN 10% NEGATIVE RELAPSE RATE IN THIS FISCAL YEAR. WE HAD OVER 66% OF OUR CLIENTS COMPLETE THE PROGRAM. WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE INNOVATIVE THERAPY FOR OUR CLIENTS, INCLUDING ART AND YOGA. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, A TOTAL OF 11,158 DAYS OF TREATMENT WERE PROVIDED.
OUTPATIENT AND REINTEGRATION PROGRAM - THIS IS A 6-8 MONTH CLINICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM DIRECTED AT THE RESIDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE IN-PATIENT PROGRAM AND NEED TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF INDEPENDENT LIVING. THE CLINICAL COUNSELORS USE THE MATRIX MODEL OF OUTPATIENT TREATMENT. OVER THE PAST YEAR, 31 RESIDENTS HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE JOSEPH HOUSE TO A SUCCESSFUL, PERMANENT HOUSING, LIVING ENVIRONMENT. RESIDENTS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THEIR INCOME THROUGH EMPLOYMENT.
