JOURNALS AND NEWSLETTERS: MATERIALS EVALUATION, THE TECHNICIAN'S NEWS, THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE THE PUBLICATION OF THE AND RESEARCH IN NONDESTRUCTIVE EVALUATION. THESE ARE DELIVERED MONTHLY OR QUARTERLY TO OVER 26,000 MEMBERS AND SUBSCRIBERS. THESE PUBLICATIONS DISCUSSED TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND ISSUES RELEVANT TO THE PROFESSION OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 13,181 MEMBERS IN THE UNITED STATES AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES. THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING BESTOWS FELLOWSHIPS, FACULTY AND SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ALONG WITH LECTURE AND HONOR AWARDS TO INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS MAKING SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING. THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING ALSO PARTICIPATES IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS (STEM) ACTIVITIES AT MULTIPLE TIMES A YEAR IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES.
THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED AND SOLD EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION ON ALL FACETS OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) AND ESTABLISHED NDT PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS. OVER 40,000 BOOKS WERE SOLD AND 32,370 CERTIFICATIONS WERE HELD BY 13,400 INDIVIDUALS. 6 PUBLICATIONS WERE PUBLISHED IN TAX YEAR 2021. 16 BOOKS ARE CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT.
CONFERENCES AND LEARNING PROGRAMS WERE HELD TO EDUCATE AND UPDATE NDT PROFESSIONALS ON NDT AND TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR AN EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION. SEVEN CONFERENCES WITH 220 PRESENTATIONS, 26 WORKSHOPS ON ELEVEN TOPICS, AND 19 WEBINARS WERE HELD SERVING 4,288 NDT PROFESSIONALS.
