SPONSORSHIP OF EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES. THESE ARE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE TOPICAL INFORMATION TO BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. OVER 300 PEOPLE ATTEND THE VARIOUS CONFERENCES. OHIO GFOA SATISFIES THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDSOF FINANCE-ORIENTED CPETRAINING BY PROVIDING A VARIETY OF SEMINARSAND AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE EVERY YEAR.
OHIO GFOA SENDS A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, OHIO GFOA NEWS, TO ITS MEMBERS. IT INCLUDES ARTICLES ON TECHNOLOGICAL ISSUES OF NOTE FROM THE STATE AUDITOR AND TREASURER, DISCUSSION OF LEGISLATIVE ISSUES, AND A LIST OF UPCOMING EVENTS.
