THE DEACONESS HEALTH ASSOCIATIONS FUND, INC. IS ORGANIZED TO RAISE AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE TAX-EXEMPT AFFILIATES OF DEACONESS ASSOCIATIONS, INC. IN TERMS OF COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE NEEDS, AS WELL AS PROVIDE GRANT MONIES TO OTHER TAX-EXEMPT ENTITIES TO SUPPORT SPECIFIC HEALTH RELATED COMMUNITY ENDEAVORS. THE FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY FOCUSING ON INITIATIVES WHICH PROVIDE HEALTHCARE ACCESS AND EDUCATION TO AT-RISK POPULATIONS AND IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

OBTAINS FUNDS THROUGH CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS AND THEN MANAGES THE FUNDS IN ORDER TO DISTRIBUTE THEM AS DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OR AS DIRECTED BY DONORS. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CONTINUE THE MISSION OF THE DEACONESS ASSOCIATIONS, INC., LEGACY HEALTHCARE, AND IT'S OTHER AFFILIATES OF PROVIDING HEALTH CARE SERVICES.
