INC., PROVIDES HEALTH EDUCATION, PARENTING, AND SUPPORTIVE SOCIAL SERVICES TO LOW INCOME WOMEN OF CHILD BEARING AGE, THEIR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES VIA A MOBILE OUTREACH VAN AND HOME VISITATION SERVICES. SERVICES FOCUS ON HEALTHY PREGNANCY AND BIRTH OUTCOMES WITH AN EMPHASIS ON REDUCING INFANT MORTALITY; IMPROVING PARENTING CONFIDENCE AND COMPETENCE; AND IMPROVING CHILD HEALTH, DEVELOPMENT AND READINESS.
HEALTHY MOMS AND BABES, INC. MAINTAINS AN APARTMENT BUILDING ALLOWING THREE PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN FREE RESIDENCE FOR A PERIOD OF NO LONGER THAN 18 MONTHS. SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE RESIDENTS INCLUDES TRAINING FOR A HEALTHY PREGNANCY AND BIRTH OUTCOMES, PARENTING, AND CHILD HEALTH AND READINESS.
