BLACKACRE CONSERVANCY MANAGES THE 170 ACRE BLACKACRE STATE NATURE PRESERVE AND HISTORIC SETTLEMENT FOR, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH, THE KENTUCKY STATE NATURE PRESERVE COMMISSION. THE SETTLEMENT INCLUDES A NUMBER OF STRUCTURES BUILT BETWEEN 1795 AND 1844. THE CONSERVANCY ALSO MANAGES AN ADDITIONAL 130 ACRES FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 300 ACRES OF CONSERVANCY, EASEMENT AND STATE NATURE PRESERVE LAND, TWO BUILDINGS USED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND TWO RENTAL PROPERTIES. THE BLACKACRE CONSERVANCY OFFERS PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOLS AND THE COMMUNITY.
