DATV IS A COMMUNITY FORUM THAT EMPOWERS ALL CITIZENS TO LEARN, CREATE AND EXPRESS THEIR IDEAS.

Part 3 - Line 4a
SUPPORT THE FREEDOM TO COMMUNICATE BY PROVIDING TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND AIR TIME FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS TO PRODUCE THEIR OWN NON-COMMERCIAL CABLE TELEVISION PROGRAMS. IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS-VOLUNTEERS: VOLUNTEER SERVICES ARE VALUED AT $15.00 PER HOUR FOR A TOTAL VALUE OF SERVICES OF $20,190 FOR THE YEAR. AT THE END OF 2021 DATV HAD APPROXIMATELY 400 MEMBERS. DURING 2021 DATV MEMBERS PRODUCED 1,026 NEW TV PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION, 124 DIFFERENT TRAINING CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS SERVING 300 PARTICIPANTS WERE OFFERED DURING THE YEAR THAT ALLOWED CITIZENS TO CREATE THEIR OWN TELEVISION PROGRAMS.
