EDUCATION - OFFERING EDUCATION TO APARTMENT COMMUNITY MANAGERS, LEASING CONSULTANTS, AND MAINTENANCE STAFF AS WELL AS THOSE THAT OWN AND OPERATE THEIR OWN INDEPENDENT RENTALS. IN 2021, 166 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN SEMINARS AND CFC CERTIFICATION CLASSES VIRTUALLY.
PUBLICATIONS - NEWSLETTER, MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY - KEEPING MEMBERS UP TO DATE ON TRENDS IN RENTAL HOUSING, INFORMED ABOUT CHANGES IN ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS AFFECTING HOUSING, AND CONNECTED TO OTHER MEMBERS IN THE AAFW - NEI NETWORK.
EVENTS/MEETINGS PROVIDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS. BREAKFAST CONNECTIONS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY FOR A MAJORITY OF THE YEAR BUT WERE BACK IN PERSON IN AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. 208 ATTENDEES AT THE BREAKFAST CONNECTIONS IN JANUARY THROUGH JUNE. 181 AT IN-PERSON BREAKFAST CONNECTIONS IN AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER.
