IN 2021, BRI PROTECTED AND PRESERVED THE HINKLE-GARTON FARMSTEAD, COMPLETING THE EXTERIOR REHABILITATION OF THE SECOND HOUSE ON THE FARMSTEAD. WE ALSO NEGOTIATED WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO ENSURE THE PLANS FOR A NEW HIGHWAY IN FRONT OF THE FARMSTEAD HAVE THE LEAST POSSIBLE NEGATIVE EFFECT ON THE HISTORIC PROPERTY AND TO MITIGATE ADVERSE EFFECTS. WE ALSO PROVIDED AFFORDABLE HOUSING AT A HOME IN STINESVILLE FOR A LOW-TO-MODERATE RENTER. BRI ALSO RESTORED THE FRONT PORCH OF AN ENDANGERED HISTORIC HOUSE IN THE PROSPECT HILL NEIGHBORHOOD OF BLOOMINGTON AND AGREED TO SELL IT TO A COUPLE WHO AGREED TO RESTORE IT.
