JUNIOR ACCHIEVEMENT PROVIDES ECONOMIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGHOUT CLARK, CHAMPAIGN, LOGAN, AND MADISON COUNTIES. THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS AND OTHER OUTREACH PLATFORMS TO STUDENTS AT NO COST TO THE STUDENTS OR SCHOOLS. DURING THE 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR, THE JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT CURRICULUM WAS TAUGHT TO 942 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, 1,060 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND 5,859 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS. ADDITIONALLY, JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT REACHED 1,700 STUDENTS THROUGH THEIR INTRODUCTORY LEARNING OUTREACH. JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT WAS INCLUDED IN 294 LEARNING EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT CLARK, CHAMPAIGN, LOGAN, AND MADISON COUNTIES.
THE ORGANIZATION AWARDS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED THROUGH A COMPETITIVE PROCESS THAT INCLUDES AN APPLICATION AND INTERVIEW.
