THE DAYTON SOCIETY OF NATURAL HISTORY CREATES AND PROVIDES MEANINGFUL AND ENTERTAINING LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR CURIOUS MINDS TO ENGAGE WITH NATURAL HISTORY, SCIENCE, AND NATURE WHILE HONORING AND PRESERVING COLLECTIONS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. DSNH'S OPERATION OF THE BOONSHOFT MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY AND SUNWATCH INDIAN VILLAGE/ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK PROVIDED INTERACTIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR ABOUT 262,016 VISITORS, EDUCATING AND ENLIGHTENING THEM ABOUT THE WONDERS OF THE WORLD THROUGH SCIENCE. IN 2023 THE BOONSHOFT MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY HAD 197,371 MEMBER AND GUEST VISITS; 32,477 SCHOOL CHILDREN VISITED THE MUSEUM; THE EXHIBITS-TO-GO PROGRAM REACHED 26,155; AND 6,013 VISITED SUNWATCH INDIAN VILLAGE/ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK.
