THE PURPOSE OF DOVETAIL IS TO ELEVATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SOCIAL INNOVATION - AT THE SYSTEMIC AND PRACTICE LEVELS - THAT WILL IMPROVE THE WELLBEING OF RESIDENTS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES. DOVETAIL ACHIEVES THIS BY PROVIDING FLEDGLING INITIATIVES WITH MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE, IMPACT ACCOUNTABILITY, PUBLIC COMMUNICATION AND STRATEGIC PLANNING. BY DOING SO, IT BUILDS SUPPORT FOR EFFECTIVE APPROACHES TO ADDRESSING COMPLEX SOCIAL PROBLEMS. DOVETAIL-SUPPORTED PROGRAMS DIRECTLY IMPACT HUNDREDS OF STAMFORD RESIDENTS.
