STUDENT LEADERSHIP - IN 2016 ADDO CONTINUED RESEARCH AND FURTHER SECURED PARTNERSHIPS TO CREATE PROGRAMS DEVELOPING CHARACTER AND LEADERSHIP CURRICULA. ADDO FACILITATED AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OUTREACH IN 7 SCHOOLS IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. IN 2016, ADDO PUT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM ON HOLD WITH HOPES OF RE-ENGAGING IN LATE 2017.
GLOBAL LEADERSHIP - IN 2016, ADDO IMPLEMENTED A PROGRAM IN INDONESIA, TAKING 10 VOLUNTEERS AND ASSISTING AN ORPHANAGE LOCATED IN DENPASAR, BALI. AS WITH OTHER ADDO PROGRAMS, PARTICIPANTS ALSO LEARNED ABOUT THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ARTISTIC ASPECTS OF THIS CULTURE. THIS PROCESS WAS CONTINUED THROUGH PEOPLE-TO-PEOPLE MEETINGS AND INFORMATIONAL PROGRAMMING. ADDO WILL CONTINUE TO PARTNER WITH ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE ACTIVELY WITH ORPHAN CARE AND ORPHAN PREVENTION.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP - IN 2016, ADDO FACILITATED A RETREAT FOR YOUNG LEADERS IN COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR. ADDO FACILITATED LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT LESSONS WITH THE AUDIENCE. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED WORKING WITH LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS, DEVELOPING BUSINESS SKILL, AND LEADERSHIP LESSONS.
