TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR TEACHERS PLANNING TO WORK IN HIGH POVERTY SCHOOLS AND TO GRANT MASTERS OF EFFECTIVE TEACHING DEGREES.

DUE TO THE ORGANIZATION'S FOCUSED MISSION, THERE IS ONLY ONE PROGRAM. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, 67 INDIVIDUALS WERE ENROLLED IN THE ORGANIZATION'S TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM, INCLUDING 28 INDIVIDUALS WHO STARTED THEIR FIRST YEAR WITH THE PROGRAM. ULTIMATELY, 7 OF THE FIRST YEAR STUDENTS COMPLETED THE NECESSARY YEAR LONG COURSEWORK AND WERE HIRED AS FIRST YEAR TEACHERS IN URBAN SCHOOLS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. THOSE WHO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM'S SECOND YEAR REQUIREMENTS DURING THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR EARN THE MASTERS IN EFFECTIVE TEACHING DEGREE. DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT, THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD HAS DECIDED TO WIND DOWN THE GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAM IN 2022-23. FOR THIS REASON, THERE WILL BE NO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS IN 2022-23.
