TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR AN INCLUSIVE CATHOLIC EDUCATION AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ASSISTANCE WITH MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT IN THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF ARLINGTON.

WITH THE PERMISSION AND SUPPORT FROM THE ARLINGTON BISHOP, MICHAEL BURBRIDGE, PORTO CHARITIES CONDUCTED A SPECIAL KIDS/SPECIAL NEEDS COLLECTION FROM VARIOUS PARISHES THROUGHOUT THE ARCHDIOCESE. FUNDS COLLECTED WERE DISTRIBUTED AS GRANT AWARDS IN SUPPORT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS IN THE DIOCESE PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS WITH NO ADMINISTRATIVE OR OVERHEAD COST ASSESSMENTS.
