THE CCOF FOUNDATION ADVANCES ORGANIC BY SUPPORTING PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES WHO CARE FOR THE LAND. GUIDED BY THE WISDOM OF OUR FARMING ROOTS, THE CCOF FOUNDATION UNITES THE ORGANIC COMMUNITY TO ADVANCE ORGANIC AGRICULTURE. WE OFFER INTENTIONAL EDUCATION, FINANCIAL SUPPORT, AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES FOR ORGANIC PROFESSIONALS.

IN 2023 THE CCOF FOUNDATION GRANTED A TOTAL OF $1,030,000 TO 89 ASPIRING AND STRUGGLING ORGANIC PRODUCERS THROUGH OUR FUTURE ORGANIC FARMER SCHOLARSHIPS, ORGANIC TRANSITION GRANTS AND HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE GRANTS. THE CCOF FOUNDATION LEAD THE USDA TRANSITION TO ORGANIC PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS WESTERN/SOUTHWESTERN REGIONAL CENTER, OVERSEEING 36 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ACROSS 7 STATES, PROVIDED ALMOST 200 HOURS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO 60 PRODUCERS IN THEIR PREFERRED LANGUAGE OF ENGLISH OR SPANISH, AND SUPPORTED 62 ORGANIC TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE WESTERN/SOUTHWESTERN REGION THAT REACHED 11,113 PRODUCERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL ABOUT ORGANIC TRANSITION.
