NEIGHBORHOOD CONNECTIONS INVESTS IN EVERYDAY PEOPLE AS ACTIVE CITIZENS TO MAKE LIFE BETTER IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH SMALL GRANTS (UP TO $5,000) TO INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS FOR CITIZEN-LED NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS, EVENTS, AND ACTIVITIES THAT BENEFIT CLEVELANDERS. NEIGHBORHOOD CONNECTIONS ALSO PROVIDES ITS PARTNERS WITH LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND CONNECTS THEM TO NETWORKS OF MENTORS, PEERS, AND CIVIC LEADERS WITH THE INTENT OF CREATING A RICHER CITIZENRY WHO CAN LEAD THEIR NEIGHBORS AND NEIGHBORHOODS TO AN URBAN RENAISSANCE OF COMMUNITY.
