GREENCROFT RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES, INC (GRC) IS THE SPONSOR OF THIRTEEN NOT-FOR-PROFIT CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES (CCRC) AND HUD FACILITIES. GRC PROVIDES THEM WITH SUPPORT AND SERVICES, AND GIVES 2,200 ELDERLY RESIDENTS OF ALL ECONOMIC LEVELS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT EMBRACES THEIR CREATIVITY AND CONTRIBUTIONS, AS WELL AS THE CHALLENGES OF AGING. AT LEAST 30 PERCENT OF RESIDENTS HAVE INCOME BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LINE. RESIDENTS WHO DO NOT MISUSE THEIR ASSETS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT FROM THE GREENCROFT COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION (ANOTHER RELATED ORGANIZATION) IF THEIR ASSETS RUN OUT.
