ANNUAL CONFERENCE: EACH YEAR THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS A CONFERENCE FOR THE PURPOSES OF EDUCATING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, NETWORKING, AND THE DISSEMINATION OF NEW IDEAS AND BEST PRACTICES. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION HELD A SUCCESSFUL CONFERENCE IN BALTIMORE, SERIVING MORE THAN 200 ATTENDEES. IN ADDITION, NADSA HELD A VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE IN NOVEMBER FOR MORE THAN 70 MEMBERS.
ADVANCEMENT & MEMBERSHIP: NADSA CHAMPIONS THE ADVANCEMENT OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, RECOGNITION AND USE OF ADULT DAY SERVICES THROUGH PUBLIC POLICY AND ADVOCACY, INFORMATION AND RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND STANDARDS, AND MEMBERSHIP. IN 2021, NADSA SUCCESSFULLY RECRUITED NEW STRATEGIC PARTNERS, GROWING THE EFFORT TO MORE THAN 30 PARTNERSHIPS WHILE BROADENING THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OFFERED, LAUNCHED A NEW ACADEMIC/INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP, CONTINUED PROGRESS ON NEW DATA COLLECTION AND STANDARDIZATION PROGRAM WITH RTZ SYSTEMS THAT WILL ALLOW CENTERS TO EASILY COLLECT AND SHARE DATA TO HIGHLIGHT AND PROMOTE ADS TO A WIDE VARIETY OF AUDIENCES, AND PARTNERED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO ESTABLISH THE PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER OF EXCELLENCE ON DEMENTIA CAREGIVING.
EDUCATION: NADSA MAINTAINED EXISTING AND DEVELOPED ADDITIONAL ALLIANCES WITH SEVERAL NATIONAL AGING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PUBLIC POLICY ARENA, HELD MORE THAN 10 EDUCATIONAL WEBINARS AND A RESEARCH SUMMIT FOR OVER 70 ATTENDEES, AND PRODUCED FOUR QUARTERLY E-NEWSLETTERS. ADDITIONALLY, NADSA DEVELOPED A BILINGUAL ADS INFOGRAPHIC FOR USE WITH LEGISLATORS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, PROSPECTIVE PARTICIPANTS AND CAREGIVERS, AND ENHANCED THE ADS CENTER OF DISTINCTION AWARDS PROGRAM TO BE AN ANNUAL AWARD AS A MEANS OF SHARING BEST PRACTICES AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS.
