ANNUAL CONFERENCE - EACH YEAR THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS A CONFERENCE FOR THE PURPOSES OF EDUCATING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, NETWORKING, AND THE DISSEMINATION OF NEW IDEAS AND BEST PRACTICES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022 INCLUDE: HELD SECOND VIRTUAL SUMMIT IN MARCH 2022; EXECUTED A SUCCESSFUL 2022 CONFERENCE IN PITTSBURGH IN OCTOBER 2022.
ADVANCEMENT & MEMBERSHIP: NADSA CHAMPIONS THE ADVANCEMENT OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, RECOGNITION AND USE OF ADULT DAY SERVICES THROUGH PUBLIC POLICY AND ADVOCACY, INFORMATION AND RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND STANDARDS, AND MEMBERSHIP. IN 2022, NADSA SUCCESSFULLY RECRUITED NEW STRATEGIC PARTNERS WHICH GREW TO 30 PARTNERS, LAUNCHED A NEW INSTITUTIONAL/ACADEMIC PARTNER MEMBERSHIP, CONTINUED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DATA COLLECTION AND STANDARDIZATION PROGRAM AND CONDUCTED MORE THAN 10 PRESENTATIONS TO VARIOUS STATE GROUPS. ADDITIONALLY, NADSA JOINED WITH THE MODERN MEDICAID ALLIANCE (MMA) TO COLLABORATE WITH HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS AND KEY MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, CONTINUED WORKING WITH THE BETTER MEDICARE ALLIANCE (BMA) TO PROMOTE ADULT DAY IN MEDICARE ADVANTAGE COLLABORATED ON LETTERS TO CONGRESS AND PROVIDED COMMENTS ON REGULATORY PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY (PHE) ISSUES & WAIVERS, ACTIVE ON THE HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEES OF THE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE OF AGING ORGANIZATIONS (LCAO) RE OLDER AMERICANS ACT, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, BUDGETS, THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN, AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROPOSALS COLLABORATED ON LETTERS TO CONGRESS AND PROVIDED COMMENTS ON REGULATORY PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY (PHE) ISSUES & WAIVERS.
