MISSION: THE SANTA FE FAT TIRE SOCIETY IS DEDICATED TO THE SPORT OF MOUNTAIN BIKING AND TO PROVIDING RIDERS OF ALL LEVELS THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET, SOCIALIZE, IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS, AND, MOST OF ALL, TO HAVE FUN. WE ARE STRONG ADVOCATES FOR RESPONSIBLE MOUNTAIN BIKING AND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, CREATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF MULTI-USE TRAILS. THE SOCIETY WILL ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR THE TRAILS ALLIANCE OF SANTA FE, AS WELL AS OTHER LAND STEWARDSHIP ORGANIZATIONS THAT CARE FOR TRAILS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.

DESCRIPTION: OUR ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO THE MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT OF LOCAL MOUNTAIN BIKING TRAILS TO ENSURE SAFE AND ENJOYABLE RIDING EXPERIENCES FOR ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: CONDUCTED REGULAR TRAIL MAINTENANCE SESSIONS THROUGHOUT THE TAX YEAR, INCLUDING TRAIL CLEARING, EROSION CONTROL, AND SIGNAGE IMPROVEMENTS. COMPLETED MILES OF TRAIL MAINTENANCE, FOCUSING ON HIGH-TRAFFIC AREAS AND SECTIONS PRONE TO DETERIORATION. ENGAGED VOLUNTEERS FOR TRAIL WORK, TOTALING X HOURS CONTRIBUTED BY DEDICATED MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS. SOCIAL RIDE SERIES: DESCRIPTION: OUR MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB HOSTS A SERIES OF SOCIAL RIDES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, DESIGNED TO BRING TOGETHER RIDERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS FOR ENJOYABLE AND INCLUSIVE BIKING EXPERIENCES. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ORGANIZED SOCIAL RIDES DURING THE TAX YEAR, EXPLORING A VARIETY OF TRAILS AND TERRAIN WITHIN OUR LOCAL AREA. CURATED RIDE ROUTES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE, AND ADVANCED RIDERS, ENSURING INCLUSIVITY AND ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR RIDERS TO CONNECT, SHARE EXPERIENCES, AND BUILD CAMARADERIE BOTH ON AND OFF THE TRAILS.
