TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS FOCUSED EDUCATION, MUSIC AND THE ARTS, AND ARCHITECTURAL PRESERVATION OF THE CAMPUS OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN DOWNTOWN STAMFORD, CT WHICH IN 2020 WAS DECLARED A NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK.

FUNDS RAISED BY HIGHLAND GREEN FOUNDATION WILL PAY FOR RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK CAMPUS OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF STAMFORD. CONSTRUCTION BEGAN IN 2021.
FUNDS RAISED SUPPORT AN INNER-CITY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SERVING AT RISK ELEMENTARY STUDENTS. 100% RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP AID. IN 2021 16 STUDENTS ATTENDED THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SUPPORTED BY THE FOUNDATION. 100% OF THOSE STUDENTS RECEIVED TUITION ASSISTANCE.
MUSIC PROGRAMS SUPPORTED BY THE FOUNDATION INCLUDE A FREE TO THE PUBLIC OUTDOOR SUMMERTIME CONCERT SERIES HELD ON THE PARK-LIKE GREEN OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CAMPUS. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS AN ONGOING SERIES OF CLASSICAL MUSIC RECITALS FEATURING WORLD CLASS AND UP AND COMING PERFORMERS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS AN ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND THAT HAS BECOME A TRADITION IN THE COMMUNITY, FEATURING THE NEW YORK SYMPHONIC BRASS AND THE CHURCH'S 4,062 PIPE ORGAN.
