MOVABILITY, INC. ("MOVABILITY") IS A CENTRAL TEXAS TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION WORKING HAND IN HAND WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE THE REGION'S ECONOMIC VITALITY BY CONNECTING ORGANIZATIONS WITH MOBILITY OPTIONS THAT SAVE TIME AND MONEY.

THE MOBILITY CHALLENGE AND MEMBERSHIP: THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC EFFECTED TRADITIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. IN COOPERATION AND COORDINATION WITH PRIMARY SUPPORTERS, FUNDING WAS REDIRECTED TO BETTER SERVE MEMBERS TO ADDRESS CURRENT NEEDS. THIS INCLUDED THE CREATION OF THE GOGRANT PROGRAM THAT PROVIDED MICRO-GRANTS TO SMALL, DISTRESSED, CUSTOMER-FACING BUSINESSES TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY OPTIONS WHICH INCLUDED THE INSTALLATION OF BIKE RACKS AND THE PURCHASE OF TRANSIT PASSES. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM WAS TO HELP EMPLOYERS RECRUIT AND RETAIN TALENT. OTHER FUNDING WAS REDIRECTED TO GET THERE CENTRAL TEXAS WHICH PROVIDES COMMUTERS INFORMATION ABOUT CARPOOL AND VANPOOL MATCHING, AND ALTERNATIVE MOBILITY OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO THEM. MOVABILITY CONDUCTED SEVERAL RESEARCH PROJECTS TO UNDERSTAND RETURN-TO-WORK INTENTIONS BY EMPLOYERS, AND TO UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WERE TRAVELING DURING THE STAY-AT-HOME ORDERS.
