KPF STARTED OFF THE YEAR WITH A BANG AT THE PUBLIX ATLANTA HALF MARATHON AND THEN BROUGHT IN A NEW BRAND AND LOGO IN JUNE THAT HAS PROVIDED A HUGE BOOST FOR KPF AND THEN FINISHED THE YEAR WITH OUR ATHLETE CELEBRATION WEEKEND WITH A 10K AND END OF YEAR AWARDS & GRANTS. OUR GRANTS THAT WE WERE ABLE TO GIVE AWAY IN 2022 TOTALED ALMOST $100,000 TO HELP PURCHASE A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VAN FOR ERIKA NORTHROP, A HOSPITAL BED FOR LIZZIE KIRKSEY, A NEW WHEELCHAIR FOR JAKOB BOHANNON AS WELL AS KYLEIGH KRAMLICH WITH THE PURCHASE OF A NEW ACCESSIBLE VEHICLE. BETWEEN THE 26 EVENTS THAT WE MANAGED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS TO RAISE AWARENESS AROUND THE FOUNDATION AS WELL AS THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF OUR FOUNDERS. THESE ENGAGEMENTS HELP TO RAISE FUNDS FOR KPF AND THOSE WE SERVE. IN ADDITION, KPF WAS ABLE TO BRING IN ANOTHER INCLUSIVE EMPLOYEE, EMANUEL MCFARLAND, TO ASSIST WITH OUR OPERATIONS TEAM WHICH BRINGS OUR INCLUSIVE EMPLOYEE STAFF TO 4. BY THESE MAJOR UPGRADES TO OUR STAFF AND EVENT SCHEDULES, WE EXCEEDED OUR GOALS FOR ATTENDANCE WITH 90 DIFFERENT KPF ATHLETES WITH 22 OF THOSE BEING BRAND NEW TO KPF. WITH THOSE HUGE KPF ATHLETE NUMBERS WE NEEDED AN EVEN LARGER NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS TO GET US THROUGH THE ENTIRE EVENT CALENDAR, WHICH SAW OVER 300 VOLUNTEERS WHICH GOT US OVER THE LINE OF 700 FINISH LINES.
