2021 SAW KPF RETURN TO NEARLY FULL OPERATIONS COMING OUT OF COVID. SPONSORING 72 TEAMS FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF 240 PEOPLE RACING FOR INCLUSION. TOGETHER OUR ATHLETES AND VOLUNTEERS CROSSED OVER 800 FINISH LINES. KPF CONTINUED TO SUPPORT OUR ATHLETE ASSISTANCE FUND AND THE BETHANY RUTLEDGE COURAGE AWARD. KPF'S BROKEN WHEEL AWARD WAS RENAMED THE LUCYE CAPLAN BROKEN WHEEL AWARD. THE JAKE GOLF TOURNAMENT, WHICH FUNDS THE JAKE VINSON FAMILY GRANT, WAS A SOLD-OUT EVENT, RECORDING A RECORD AMOUNT OF FUNDS RAISED. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, KPF FOUND WAYS TO CONNECT VIRTUALLY UNTIL IN THE 4TH QUARTER AND KPF FOUND WAYS TO SAFELY GATHER IN-PERSON AND RETURNED TO RACING. AT THE END OF 2021 KPF EMPLOYED THREE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES FOR OUR INCLUSION EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM.
